Being Twenty-something - they call it the "Quarter-life Crisis".
It is when you stop going along with the crowd and start realizing that
there are many things about yourself that you didn't know and may not
like. You start feeling insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or
two, but then get scared because you barely know where you are now. You start realizing that people are selfish and that, maybe, those friends that you thought you were so close to aren't exactly the greatest people you have ever met, and the people you have lost touch with are some of the most important ones.
What you don't recognize is that they are realizing that too, and aren't really cold, catty, mean or insincere, but that they are as confused as you.
You look at your job ... and it is not even close to what you thought you would be doing, or maybe you are looking for a job and realizing that you are going to have to start at the bottom and that scares you. Your opinions have gotten stronger. You see what others are doing and find yourself judging more than usual because suddenly you realize that you have certain boundaries in your life and are constantly adding things to your list of what is acceptable and what isn't. One minute, you are insecure and then the next, secure.
You laugh and cry with the greatest force of your life. You feel alone
and scared and confused.
Suddenly, change is the enemy and you try and cling on to the past with dear life, but soon realize that the past is drifting further and further away, and there is nothing to do but stay where you are or move forward. You get your heart broken and wonder how someone you loved could do such damage to you. Or you lie in bed and wonder why you can't meet anyone decent enough that you want to get to know better.
Or maybe you love someone but they love someone else too and cannot figure out why you are doing this because you know that you aren't a bad person. Or someone loves you- LOL,but you ar inlove with someone else, but you dont want to let both of them go, because the one loves you how you want the other too... LOL ya, neh!
Getting wasted and acting like an idiot doesn't seem as fun. You go through the same emotions and questions over and over, and talk with your friends about the same topics because you cannot seem to make a decision.
You worry about loans, money, the future and making a life for
yourself... and while winning the race would be great, right now you'd just like to
be a contender! What you may not realize is that everyone reading this relates to it. We are in our best of times and our worst of times, trying as hard as we
can to figure this whole thing out.
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the
moments that take our breath away."
It's really amazing when two strangers become the best of friends, but
it is really sad when the best of friends become two strangers.
Love from another twenty-something!

if I was a boy
Today I think I ticked off the last item to my bucket list.
I've done everything I had enlisted about 10 years ago. I'm satisfied, I will never have to wonder about anything. I'm officially ready to not be selfish about my time. Ready to work and focus. Take it easy to learn new things, calm down a bit and study further.
As I write this I've just arrived home and ready to redefine life.but before that, I sleep.

Moment
In these moments
In these moments
In these moments
In the moment
In the moment
In the moment
Been thinking about you everyday
Trying to accept all your ways
In a month I've seen
A future grey and I don't really want wait
I'm beginning to realise that I am my own cries
And if you can't see it-
There is no way WE can be it.
Do you know?
There is no way to learn
Its all right here in the moment
And do you know?
We are here to grow
Get past all the fears
And fall into the moment
And after all its no surprise
I'm finally opening up my eyes
And You not here- its ok
I'm set free without delay
I want the best and deserving too
And I send all my love to you
And now its time for me to leave
My heart unleashed wants to be free
*Exhale- glad that's out of my system- the hardest thing to over come is my love for dude*

Why Did Jesus Fold the Napkin?
Why did Jesus fold the linen burial cloth after His resurrection? I have always wondered about this.... and went on a quest till I found it.
The Gospel of John (20:7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed over the face of Jesus, was not just thrown aside like the grave clothes. The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that the napkin was neatly folded, and was placed separate from the grave clothes.
Early Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved (Ubandlululo- LOL Jokes). She said, 'They have taken the Lord's body out of the tomb, and I don't know where they have put him!' Peter and the other disciple ran to the tomb to see.. The other disciple outran Peter and got there first. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen cloth lying there, but he didn't go in. Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus' head was folded up and lying to the side.
Was that important? Absolutely! Is it really significant? Yes! In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have to understand a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day.
The folded napkin had to do with the Master and Servant, and every Jewish boy knew this tradition. When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure thatit was exactly the way the master wanted it... The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just out of sight, until the master had finished eating, and the servant would not dare touch that table, until the master was finished. Now if the master were done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that napkin and
toss it onto the table, the servant would then know to clear the table. For in those days, the wadded napkin meant, 'I'm done'. But if the master got up from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid it beside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table, because......... The folded napkin meant, 'I'm coming back!'
He is Coming Back!
